Professor Suzanne Chambers is Dean of the Faculty of Health at the University of Technology Sydney. Prior to joining UTS, she was the Director of the Menzies Health Institute of Queensland at Griffith University. She is a health psychologist and registered nurse who has worked as a practitioner and researcher in psychological support for people with cancer for over 30 years. She has published extensively on the psychological effects of cancer with over 200 peer reviewed publications and books and has been a chief investigator on successful research grants valued at over $30 million from the NHMRC, ARC, Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia, Cancer Australia, Beyond Blue and Cancer Council Queensland. She leads the current NHMRC Centre for Research Excellence in Prostate Cancer Survivorship.
